Visit Us

We can’t guarantee you a ticket on the door, so please book your tickets early! Luckily, there are a number of ways to easily book your tickets before the show. You can book your tickets over the phone by calling on 01934 645493; and up to 1 hour before performances.

On days where performances are scheduled in our Main House our box office will be open one hour before the start time. For events in our Studio Theatre and Theatre Bar the box office will be open 30 minutes before the start time. Please note that phone lines during this time may not be open. At certain times of the year our opening times may vary. Please check the times on our website before you make a special trip.

You can also purchase tickets for events at the theatre at Weston Museum.

The best way to book tickets is from the comfort of your own home, desk or online whilst out and about. To book tickets this way, find the show you want to see and follow the online booking link. Please note, a booking fee is added for online sales.

Tickets

All tickets purchased over the phone, will be emailed to you as an e-ticket where you can ‘Print at Home’ or just bring along electronically on your phone. We even have free Wi-Fi at the theatre, so no need to worry about accessing them online. So no need for any paper!

Payment

We ask that as far as possible all transactions are cashless at this time. We accept all major credit and debit cards except American Express.

Ticket Prices

Pricing for our theatre shows has been designed to maximise the variety of price options available to you when booking. Early Bird Offer tickets must be paid for before the date when the Early Bird Offer ends.

Reservations, Refunds & Exchanges

Please check before completing your booking that you have the correct tickets, as all tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable except in the case of a cancelled performance by the theatre or please see our Covid promise at this time, where you will be contacted regarding a refund.

Tickets can be exchanged for another performance of the same production (subject to availability) at the same face value of the ticket, please give us a call. Tickets cannot be reserved without payment in full for any of the performances, however we are happy to reserve seats for large group bookings, with payment to be paid at least two weeks before the performance date.

Seating

Unless stated otherwise, we operate reserved seating for all our shows.

Groups / Schools

If you are part of a group and would like to organise a trip to one of our shows, we are happy to reserve tickets for your booking in advance. However, please note that we do require full payment for all reserved tickets at least 14 days before the event. Some of our shows do have a Group Discount offer, please contact the box office for further information.

Concessions

Concessions may be available for Children (16 & under) and Senior Citizens (65 years & Over). Please see individual events for more information.

Babes in Arms

Please note that Babes in Arms classed as children under two years old are free of charge and will not be allocated a seat (unless stated in literature for that performance).

Babes in Arms will require a free ticket that must be collected from the Box Office on arrival. The theatre has a baby changing facility in the disabled toilet. Please note that prams and pushchairs are not permitted into the venues, these can be stored, if folded, in the theatre foyer during performances. The theatre is a breast feeding Friendly venue.

Access

Everyone is welcome at the Blakehay and we will do whatever we can to ensure you have an enjoyable visit. Staff are always available to help, so please ask us if you need assistance especially if you are unsure in an emergency evacuation. Please contact the theatre directly for tickets if you would like to sit in our Main House disabled seating, or if you will need any assistance at the theatre, so that we can ensure any special requirements you have are met. If you have a service dog, please can you let us know before your arrival. Unfortunately, the theatre does not have a hearing loop installed.

The theatre has ramped access into the foyer and theatre bar and level access into the main house, where up to four wheelchair users can be accommodated with seating for a friend next to you. There is a fully accessible Disabled toilet in the foyer. If you purchase tickets in rows A & B these all have level access into the main house and just one step up to access row B.

Please note which venue the event is being held in as the theatre has three venues and our Studio Theatre does not have disabled access, this consists of two flights of stairs to the Studio Theatre. The theatre has access to our free Wi-Fi, Blakehay Theatre, see our password in our foyer. Please note that the use of any photographic or recording equipment for our events are strictly prohibited.

Main House Seating Plan

All of our seating our Main house is tiered and have a good view over the low stage. All of our theatre seats are fixed theatre seating with cushioned seats apart from our Disabled seats.

Some of our shows have different price categories for seat selection, please check which events use this plan when booking your event, otherwise all tickets are available at one price.

The best seats in the house are the red Premium seats in the middle and front of the auditorium. Our wheelchair seats are marked in Green at the front of the Auditorium and are available through booking at our Box office or will be released for general sale an hour before the start of the performance. Our blue General seats offer a great value seat with aisle seats available. Our yellow Standard seating are mainly at the back of the Auditorium or at the sides of the main house.

Studio Theatre Seating Plan

All of our seating our Studio Theatre is flat and have a view over the low stage. All of our theatre seats are foldable seats, and although they are comfortable, you are welcome to bring a cushion! Seats A1, B1, C1, E1 and F1 have a restricted view of part of the stage.
